Dennis E. Bennett, 68, of Templeton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 5, 2026, with his brother, Ron and niece, Diana by his side.  He was born May 18, 1957, to the late Russell and Permilda (Bowser) Bennett.  Den enjoyed camping, playing bingo, shooting darts, watching WWE, hunting, river fishing and playing skills machines.

He is survived by sisters: Von Lasher, Greta Walker, and Charlene (Robert) Hammer; brothers: Ronald (Debra) Bennett, Robert (Janet) Bennett and Tim (Peg) Bennett; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he cared deeply for.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother as well as brothers, Norman and Chuck and sisters: Ella, Bessie, Rose, Ida and Hallie; he was also preceded in death by his long-time best friend, Herman Corbett.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.  Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the funeral home, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Gloria Carney of The Salvation Army officiating.  Interment is in the Kittanning Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the funeral home or his brother, Ron to help with the cost of the funeral.
