Dennis Wayne Greenawalt, 73, of Cadogan, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville.  He was born February 9, 1952 in Kittanning, the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Klingensmith) Greenawalt.  He was a 1970 graduate of Dayton High School and the Auto Mechanics Program at Lenape Vo-Tech and retired from Asbury Graphite in Kittanning.  Dennis was a member of Pine Township/Templeton VFD and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Kittanning as well as Pine Creek Sportsmen's Club.  In his younger days he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, bowling and sport shooting.  More recently, Dennis enjoyed gardening, archery, attending ETAR, motor sports racing, concerts, hunting and fishing.  He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his daughter, April Greenawalt-Christy; sons, Matthew (Ashley) Greenawalt and Michael (Stephanie) Greenawalt; grandchildren, Lucas, Josh, Natalie, Saxon, London, Oliver and Lydia; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Nancy Greenawalt; nephew, Kenny Greenawalt (Sharon); nieces, Connie (Kevin) Bussard and Rachael Greenawalt; and nephew, Tim Greenawalt.  In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Kent E. Greenawalt and Brian C. Greenawalt; and great-nephew, Zebulin T. Greenawalt.  Friends will be received on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. with Pastor Robert Grimm officiating.  Private interment.
