Diane P. (Dineen) Steiner

Diane P. Steiner, 84, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, PA.  She was born June 26, 1940, in Passaic, NJ to Dennis L. Dineen and Laura (Graff) McIlwain.  Diane was a member of St. Mary's, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  She enjoyed creative projects including "Santas by Diane", quilt making, embroidery and painting ceramics.  Many of her creations are still cherished by family and friends.  She also enjoyed card club with friends.  She loved anything and everything about Christmas.  She shopped all year for toys to donate to children's charities at Christmas.  Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.  She also dearly loved her animals.  

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerry Steiner; her daughter, Linda (Tim) Olinger, of Kittanning, PA; her sons, John (Shelley) Steiner, of Kittanning, PA and Jeff (Jamie) Steiner, of Kittanning, PA; and her daughter, Laura Steiner, of Norwich, CT; her sister, Laura Elizabeth Dineen, of Alexandria, VA; her grandchildren, Joshua Olinger, Jon Steiner, Chase Steiner, Raechel Steiner and Zachary Steiner; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Ellen Corbett.  

In honor of Diane, contributions may be made in her memory to Orphans of the Storm at PO Box 838, Kittanning, PA 16201 or donate a toy to your local Christmas toy drive.  A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday December 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Worthington with Pastor Kirk Bish and Pastor Will Moser officiating.
