Donald E. Rothwell, Sr., 81, of Kittanning, passed away Thursday June 11, 2026 at Life Armstrong. He was born July 19, 1944 in New Kensington to the late Clarence and Ella Mae (McGrew) Rothwell.

Don was a member of the Kittanning Eagles and a social member of Kittanning Hose Company #1. He enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts, socializing, and taking care of his parrots.

He is survived by his son Don (April) Rothwell and family; daughter Brenda (Shawn "Buzz") Leightley and family; daughter Shirley Rothwell and family; daughter Donna Rothwell and family; daughter Danielle Rothwell and family; two brothers Barry Rothwell and family and Bobby "Rocky" (Carol) Rothwell and family; sister-in-law Regina Rothwell; numerous nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Theetta Blystone; 2nd wife Cindy (Greiner) Rothwell; brothers William "Bill" McGrew and Fritzy Rothwell.

Friends will be received on Saturday June 13, 2026 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.
