Our precious Mother, Doris Marie Aites-Crissman-Venesky passed away peacefully on July, 27, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8, 1944 in Cadogan, PA.
She fought her battle against cancer as long as her body could, with unwavering courage for a few short months and she never lost her smile, even in her final days. She devoted her simple life to her loving dog named Jimmy, who she absolutely Adored.
She is survived by her 3 children, her son Howard (Howdy) A. Crissman and wife Tab, oldest daughter Sharon M. Bauer and husband Kenneth III, youngest daughter and her caregiver Tracey L. Crissman; grandchildren: Miranda Winkelvoss and fiancé Marcia Boyer, Howie, Jr. Crissman, Dustin Crissman, wife Haley and Chase Bauer; 6 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers, Wayne Aites and wife Theresa, Richard Aites and wife Sharon and Ronald Aites and wife Nelda.
She was proceeded in death by: Saundra Crissman (daughter), Michael Crissman (grandson), John Venesky (husband), Amos H. Aites (father), Venice M. Aites Anthony (mother), Elva Fair (sister) and husband James Fair, Floyd Aites (brother) and wife Bonnie, Marge Thiry (sister) and husband Charles, Faye Wolfe (sister) and husband Clair, Shirley Flick (sister) and husband Raymond Flick, Robert Aites (brother) and wife Barbara, James Aites (brother) and Emmett Aites (brother) and wife Stella.
A heart felt Thank You to Meagan Sutton from Medi Home Hospice to know how grateful we are to have had such a wonderful person taking care of our Mom in her final days.
