Doris Wolfe

Doris Wolfe, 93, of Kittanning passed away August 24, 2025 at ACMH.  She was born May 26, 1932 in Mosgrove, the daughter of the late Carl and Catharine (Smith) Whited.  She was married to the late Laverne Wolfe, Jr.  She worked at Craftman's Business Forms in Worthington and Erdos Furniture Store in Kittanning.  In her younger years she provided care to several elderly relatives.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Manorville.  Her hobbies were doing crafts, shopping and keeping up on current events.  She also enjoyed sending cards to everyone for all occasions.  

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Terri (Mike) Holleran, Janet (Butch) Campbell and Kim Hufhand; 5 grandchildren: Shani (Jason) Shenk, Shelby (Nate) Miller, Kasey (Jon) Birbeck, Matt (Mandy) Campbell and Courtney (Brian Magner) Hufhand; 7 great-grandchildren: Lucas and Evan Shenk, Quincy, Nash and Nixon Miller, Josephine Birbeck and Charley Campbell; a special cousin, Bob Whited; and her beloved dog, Teenie.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Laverne Wolfe, Jr.; daughter, Deborah; brother, William (Bud) Whited; sister, Betty Rood; and son-in-law, Robert (Dar) Hufhand.

Per Doris's request, there will be no viewing.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Doris's honor to Grace Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 122, Manorville, PA 16238 or Orphans of the Storm, P.O. Box 838, Kittanning, PA 16201.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
