Dr. Arnold (Bimmer) Crissman, 94, of Templeton, passed peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his home. He was born in Kittanning to the late Arnie and Beckie Crissman. He graduated from Kittanning High School and University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry. After graduation, he served in the Air Force and then returned to Kittanning to open his practice, retiring in 1980. He was married for 63 years to Janet (Shriver) Crissman who preceded him in death in 2018. They raised five children together. He most enjoyed being in the woods hunting both locally and out west, working in his gardens and spending time at his family hunting camp in Medix Run, Camp Teddy, with family and friends. He was an NRA Endowment member. After retiring he spent time at an Alaska fishing lodge as the "fix it" man where his son was a guide.
He is survived by his children and their families: Becky and Ray Rozic, of Cabot, Diana Adams, of Templeton, Mark Scott and Janelle Crissman, of Fox, OR, and Mimi and Rick Erickson, of Portland, OR; granchildren, Seth and Jenna Rozic, of Hesperus, CO, Andy and Lynde Rozic, of Okinawa, Japan, John Lester, of Arnold, PA, Keenan Adams and Michael Troiani, of Mt. Lebanon, PA and Tanner and Alexis Adams, of Mechanicsburg, PA; three great-grandchildren, Trey Turner and Evey and Eli Rozic. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, Amy, and her husband Paul Lester; in-laws, Ted and Ruth Shriver; and brother-in-law, Theodore (Rich) Shriver.
At Arnold's request, there will be no visitation or services held and the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, Arnold requests that you vote for Donald J. Trump.
