Edward W. Hetrick, 81, of Ford City, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital with his family by his side. Born August 11, 1943 in Dayton, Pa., he was the son of the late Elmer and Ruth (Summerville) Hetrick. Ed was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired heavy equipment operator. He loved spending time with his family and going to races with his kids. Anyone who knew him knows he loved street rods and enjoyed showing off his photos of the classic cars he built in his younger years. He also enjoyed dining at his favorite local spots, The Cadet and The Villa. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Patricia Hetrick; his sons, Ed (Courtney) Hetrick and Bob (Beth) Hetrick; two daughters, Becky (Chris) Milliren and Erica Dunn; son, Roy Dunn, Jr. He is also the best grandpa, leaving behind Austin, Gavin, Logan, Madisyn and Emelyn Hetrick, Marissa and Joshua Hetrick, Chrysta and Christina Milliren, Quentin Fox, Zack Fox (Heather), Ryan (Summer) Fox, Pasiley John, Carter Fox and Kailynn Fox; and great-grandpa to Roosevelt and Gabriel Hetrick. Also surviving is his sister, Jean Williams. Arrangements are private.
