Jean lived a full and happy life enjoying many interests and activities. She was a devoted mother and wife and an active volunteer in her church and community. Together with Dale, she passed this love of arts, crafts, fixing, and creating to their daughter, Elizabeth. Jean and Dale also enjoyed traveling early in their marriage, and in later years they enjoyed traveling with Butler Motor Tours, meeting many friends along their journeys and seeing wonderful sites together across the US.

Jean had a strong faith and a deep sense of service to others. She was an active member of Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church in Kittanning, Pa. She and Dale enjoyed being involved with church activities, dinners, and functions, as well as community events of all sorts. Over the years, she was also a member of the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.

The family would like to acknowledge their appreciation of the support and tender care provided by the staff and caregivers at Wynwood House, Grane Hospice of Altoona, Pa, and those that cared for her when she was in her home.
