Eric Colton Moyer

Eric Colton Moyer, 30, of Latrobe formerly of Shelocta, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his home. He was born May 13, 1991 in Kittanning the son of Eric E. Moyer and Brenda McCleary. Colton graduated with his Bachelors from IUP and his Masters from Point Park. He worked in fields with his psychology degree, counseling victims of abuse, children and their family, and drug and alcohol. 

Colton had a passion for wood working and milling trees to make his own furniture, hunting and shooting, whether in competition or with his friends. He had a special place in his heart for his golden retriever Grizz and Eddie the cat. 

Colton’s memory will be cherished by his parents Brenda McCleary and Eric E. (Tristan) Moyer; his brother Curtis Moyer; sister Kenzie Moyer; step brothers Jesse and Tim McCleary; partner Amanda Terry. Family and friends will cherish his memory, his kindness, his laughter, and willingness to help others. 

Colton was preceded in death by his step father Timothy R. McCleary. 

At the request of the family funeral arrangements will be private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
