Erma Karen (Wagle) DeVivo, 80, of Shelocta, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, joining her loving husband, Joseph David DeVivo, who passed away Oct. 1, 1975.
She was born Jan. 20, 1944, in Kittanning, to the late John Alexander, Jr. and Betty Jane (Hazlett) Wagle.
Karen is a retired registered nurse and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kittanning. She enjoyed swimming at the YMCA and going to lunch afterwards with the ladies.
She is survived by her daughter, Kamala Denise DeVivo, of Beaver County; son, Joseph David (Melanie Lisa) DeVivo II, of Richmond, Va.; five grandsons: Joseph David (Megan) DeVivo III, of Oakmont, Jordan David (Laura) DeVivo, of South Hills, Damon Annacletto DeVivo, of Richmond, Va., Devon Alexander DeVivo, of Richmond, Va. and Dylan Anthony DeVivo, of Richmond, Va.; great-granddaughter, Evalina Elizabeth DeVivo, of Oakmont; brother, Howard Dennis Wagle, of Monroeville; and sisters, Harriett Denise Hunter, of Beaver County, and Janice L. Gonzalez, of Miami Shores, Fla.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph David DeVivo, who passed away Oct. 1, 1975; and brother, John Alexander Wagle III.
Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. on Sunday June 16, 2024, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.
Additional viewing will be held from 10-10:30 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 112 N. Water St., Kittanning, with Father Brandon Cooper officiating.
Interment is in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Yatesboro.
