Evelyn Mae Kilgore

     Evelyn Mae Kilgore, 78, of Kittanning, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2021.  She was born on August 5, 1942 to Raymond Clair Fennell and Avanelle Mildred Thomas.  She married William Charles Kilgore Sr. on July 9, 1961.  She belonged to Center Hill Church of the Brethren and worked at ACMH for 24 years.  Evelyn loved gardening, quilting, putting together puzzles and spending time with her family.  She also loved to bake and taking care of her husband and children. 

     Left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband of 59 years, William C. Kilgore Sr.; sons, William C. Kilgore Jr. and Richard E. (Teri) Kilgore, and twin daughter and son, Brenda L. Heilman and Brent L. (Mary) Kilgore; grandchildren, William C. Kilgore III, Jeremy Kilgore, Josh Mills, Abby Kilgore, Sage (Amanda) Slagle, Anna Cooper, Blake (Kate) Kilgore, Skye (Todd) Reesman, Jared Kilgore, Kristen Hughes, Jeff Hughes, Russell (Cassandra) Bishop, Breanna (Spencer) Bishop, Carla (Donald) Koffman, Christian (Emberlee) Meyer, Brent Kilgore Jr., Chelsea Kilgore, Tanner Kilgore, Colt Kilgore, and William Shrum; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynn Chromiak; brothers, Raymond Fennell, Harry Fennell, Randy Fennell; sister, Sandy Sheasley; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her sister, Eleanor Shearer. 

     Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or facial covering and follow all CDC/health safety protocols.
