Frances Emma Peters

Frances Emma Peters, 95, entered her heavenly home on May 17, 2022, at Hilltop of Greenville Memory Care in Greenville, South Carolina. She was born on July 15, 1926 to Frank and Lida (Klingensmith) Faulkner. 

Frances was born in the Kittanning area and lived and loved that town for the first 89 years of her life. She was a dedicated wife and mother, working for a time at Jordan’s Grocery Store and the Leader Times Circulation Department. In her later years she enjoyed walking from her home at Balcony Towers to Market Street stores. 

She is survived by her daughter, Wilma (Art) Koeller of Greer, South Carolina; three grandchildren: Jared Koeller of Ontario, California; Chris Koeller of Greer, South Carolina; and Lauren (Koeller) Harris of Greer, South Carolina; and four great grandchildren. 

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Ford Peters, son and daughter – in – law Larry and Lynn Peters, and siblings Bertha, James, (Louise (Faulx), and Gene Faulkner. 

Family and friends will be received on Monday May 23, 2022 in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean Street, Kittanning, PA 16201 from 1:00pm until Celebration of Life service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery.
