Fred Keith Yount

Fred “Keith” Yount, of West Kittanning, died on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Heritage Meadows.  He was born July 10, 1938 in Kittanning to the late Fred R. Yount and Meredith (Wiles) Yount.  He formerly was a Supervisor with T.W. Phillips, with 48 years of service.  Survivors include his son, Curtis (Barbara) Yount, of Georgia; brother, John (Janine) Yount, of Butler, Pa.; granddaughter, Cayla Yount, of Alaska; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jace and Josette, of Alaska; numerous nieces and nephews; his companion on 46 years, Sharon Wolfe, and her children, Melissa, Amy and Matthew; “special” grandchildren, Noah, Hunter, Elizabeth, Abby, William, Brady and Laney; “special survivors”, Duane & Gail Denison, Nancy & John Cope, and Tom & Patty Forringer and their families, who were all like family.  A special thanks to Tim, Erin and all the great staff and Heritage Meadows for their care.  Per Keith’s wishes, there will be no public services and interment is private.  Arrangements entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
