Glenn A. Anthony, 95, of Worthington, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born December 9, 1929 in Craigsville, the son of Chart and Helen (Bowser) Anthony. He retired from Armco Steel in Butler in 1992 and also was employed at Logan Clay Products, Eljer and for Worthington Borough. He was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. Glenn was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his daughters, Karen and Sharen Anthony, and sister, Leona (Charles) Shearer. In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deloris (Bowser) Anthony; and siblings, Francis Anthony, Hazel Hawk, Walter Anthony, Alice Miller, Norman Anthony, Jane Bowser, Helen Leiner, and infant brother, Vincent. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 21, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Hindman officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
