Greta Marie Bennett

Greta Marie Bennett, 48, of Kittanning, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, Pa.  She was born on Wednesday, April 28, 1976 in Kittanning, the daughter of Robert J. Bennett and Connie Marie Bennett (Rumbaugh), and was a lifelong resident of the community.  She worked as a therapist with Evergreen Homes.  Greta attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Kittanning.  She enjoyed fishing, motorcyle riding, doing diamond paintings, playing board games and playing with her pet dog "NICO", a black and gray Shapoo (shitzu and toy poodle mix). Greta also enjoyed helping her step-dad with carpentry projects.  

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her mother and step-father, Mrs. Connie and Edward Brosius, of Kittanning;  her father and step-mother, Mr. Robert and Janet Bennett, of Kittanning; brother, Robert G. Bennett, of Kittanning; step-brother and his wife, Mr. Donald and Wendy Delp, of Butler; step-sister and her husband, Mrs. Amanda and Kevin Wright, of Dayton; step-brother and step-sister, Abraham and Hilee Rose Brosius, of Jacksonville, Fl.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and other extended family. Greta was preceded in death by her grandparents: Russell and Permilda Bennett and Herbert and Susie Rumbaugh; step-grandparents, Howard and Peggy Brosius; and her pet dog, "Nico".  

Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 334 Arch St., Kittanning, Pa. (on the corner of N. McKean St. and Arch St. across from the Post Office) with funeral service the begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating.  A light luncheon will follow services.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. 16201 to help defray expenses.  Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
