Hannah Evelyn (Yount) Cloak, 107, of Ford City died peacefully Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024 at her residence.
She was born February 19, 1917 near Buttermilk Falls to the late Arlie and Ella (Beckwith) Yount. She was a member of the First Church of God in Kittanning and devout Christian throughout her life. She was a founding member of the Lenape Heights Women’s Golf League as well as a lifetime member of Lenape Heights Golf Course. She enjoyed golfing; playing horseshoes; bowling; participating in the senior games; and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, E. Dale Cloak Jr. and wife Wanda of Ford City; two daughters, Sally Pennington (the late John Pennington), Debby Lasher and husband Gary, all of Kittanning; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Joanne Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Her beloved husband of 65 years, Edgar Dale Cloak Sr., one daughter, Sandra Jean Cloak; one great-granddaughter, Tiffany Pennington; five sisters and five brothers.
Friends will be received Friday March 1, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday March 2, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Pastor Curt Sirwell of Simpson Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in the Mateer Cemetery.
