Harry Andrew Patton, Jr., 80, of Kittanning, passed away peacefully Tuesday April 28, 2026 at Allegheny Valley Hospital with his family by his side. He was born April 13, 1946 in Kittanning to the late Harry Andrew and Mary Josephine (Trumbull) Patton Sr.
Harry was a 1964 graduate of Kittanning High School. He was a retired truck driver for Refiners Transport in Butler. Harry was a member of the old First Church of God on Woodward Avenue in Kittanning, he also was a member of the Kittanning/East Brady Lodge #244 F&AM, and the Coudersport Consistory,where he especially enjoyed playing a part in the annual Passion Play at Easter time, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon #180. Harry was also a member of the Teamsters Joint Council # 40 Retirees Club and the East Fork Sportsman's Club in Wharton, PA in Potter County. He loved the outdoors , especially at camp in Potter County, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons. Harry also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and cheering them on. In his younger years he loved riding his Suzuki and Harley and going to East Coast Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Harry loved his dogs through the years, especially his Rottweiler Ben. He went in the truck with him everywhere.
Harry is survived by his wife of 41 years Linda (Beers) Patton of Kittanning whom he married May 4, 1985; daughter Vaughn (Ed) Underberg of Florida; two sons Will (Tracy) Patton of Chicora and Andy (Stacy) Patton of Ford City; grandchildren Molly (Parker) Austin of Florida, Justin Patton of Chicora, Austin Patton of Ford City, Aiden Patton and his fiancée Baylee of Indiana, Marra Patton of Chicora, Sarah Patton of Chicora, and Alex Patton of Ford City; great-granddaughter Monroe Austin of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Tressa Beers; and brother-in-law, Dave Beers.
A memorial service for Harry will be announced and held at a later date.
