Ida Mae "Maisie" (Toy) Wright, 49, of Kittanning, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Sugarcreek Rest. Born Oct. 29, 1961, in Kittanning, she was a daughter of May Bell (Fair) Smith and the late Thomas Leroy Toy Sr. At age 2, she was adopted by Herbert F. Toy Sr. and Rhetta Byrd Toy, her paternal grandparents. She was a homemaker. She grew up attending Rosston Union Church. Mrs. Wright enjoyed her grandchildren, bingo, boating and fishing, and baking cookies with the kids. She loved singing karaoke with Omer "Daddy-O" Smith. Survivors include her husband, Leonard "Lenny" Wright, of Kittanning; a son, Matthew Harkleroad and wife, Crystal, of Logan, Iowa;step-son Jason Crawford : step-daughter Heather Yount two grandchildren, Kiersten and Ryder Harkleroad; a stepgranddaughter, Carley Corbett; a brother, Jay Toy, of Kittanning; three sisters, Helen Shaffer, of Kittanning, Debra (Ron) Bennett, of Templeton, and Jane (Paul) Zimmerman, of Kittanning; three stepsisters, Amy Harmon, Rhetta Cravenor and Ruby Toy; stepmother, Ruth Ann "Susie" Toy; mother-in-law, Velma Jean Grates; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and adoptive parents, Herbert F. Sr. and Rhetta Byrd Toy; and brother, Thomas Leroy Toy Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Greta Walker officiating. Interment in Ford City Cemetery.
