Jacqueline Ann (Wilson) Dougherty, 79, of Kittanning, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Concordia at Cabot. She was born October 23, 1944 in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice Wilson, and was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a homemaker. Jacqueline was a member of Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, serving numerous years as a Deacon, choir member, in the prayer group and on many church committees. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping and spending time with her family. Jackie was a kind, loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She truly LOVED her family. She always had a smile for everyone she met and always was helping others. She was truly a very special woman and very beloved.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory: her husband of 60 years, Walter H. Dougherty, of Kittanning; daughters, Luci (Eric) Sanoba, of Kittanning and Betsy (Steve) Wranich, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Lacy (Max) Sanoba-Parmelee, of Pittsburgh Pa. and Mike (Kendra) Wranich, of Ford Cliff, Pa.; and great-grandchildren, Rowan Sanoba-Parmelee, of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Chase Wranich, of Ford Cliff, Pa. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Sue Dougherty; and two brothers, Jeff Wilson and William Wilson.
Funeral services will be privately held by the family at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning with Pastor Mark Davis officiating. Interment is in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jackie’s loving memory to The Alzheimer’s Association or Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church, 106 Brown Rd., Freeport, Pa. 16229.
