James Ronald Luke, 63, of Kittanning, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Allegheny Valley Hospital. He was born March 9, 1948, in Kittanning, a son of the late Wilmer L. Luke and Martha L. (Claypool) Luke. James had been self-employed with J and M Safety Service. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Presbyterian Church and he loved to tinker. James is survived by his brothers, Michael Luke, of Kittanning, Douglas Luke, of Adrian, Turney Luke (Lori), of Kittanning and Todd Luke (Ronica), of Worthington; sisters, Sandra Raymer (Bob), of Templeton, Carol Cravenor (Lenny), of Ford City, and Beth Cypher (Ken), of Germany; and nieces and nephews, Heather Hileman (Greg), Derek Luke, April Cravenor (Josh), Kelsey Luke, Tiffany Graham (Andrew), Tyler Luke (Kim), Chad Cravenor, Sabrine, Miranda and Mackenzie Cypher, Luci, Hannah and Elsie Morda; great-nieces and nephews, Zayden and Koda Gibson, Madelyn Graham and Ella and Emari Hileman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha L. Luke, who died June 4, 2000, and father, Wilmer L. Luke, who died Jan. 30, 2012. Funeral arrangements are private and entrusted to SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning.
