James O. Crissman, 84, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at ACMH.  He was born March 10, 1941 in Chickasaw to the late Oscar and Josephine (Cobbett) Crissman.  James was a coal miner for Carpentertown Coal and Coke and also worked at Carson Industries.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.  He loved hunting, fishing, watching the Pirates and Steelers, woodworking and cooking.

 Left behind to forever cherish his memory includes his wife of 65 years, Anna (Barnes) Crissman, of Kittanning; daughters, Shelley (Randy) Johnson, of Kittanning and Crystal (Tom) Ferraino, of Kittanning; sons, Ricky Crissman, of Templeton and A.J. (Heather) Crissman, of Kittanning; grandchildren: Patrick Ferraino, of Kittanning, Brittany Hamil (John), of Templeton, Austin Smith, of Kittanning and Peyton Crissman, of Kittanning; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Owen Ferraino, of Kittanning and Taylor Hamil, of Templeton; brother, George (Cheryl) Crissman, of Distant; sister, Sandy Cox, of Kittanning; brother, Keith (Barbara) Crissman, of Templeton; brother, Kevin (Dana) Crissman, of Templeton; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters, Annabelle Lasher and Susan Crissman; and daughter-in-law, Belinda Crissman.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 3 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201 with Rev.
