Jane Eloise (Reed) Wain

Jane Eloise (Reed) Wain, 94, of Kittanning, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Kittanning Care Center.  She was born March 16, 1926 in Birdsboro, PA to the late Russell and Mary Reed and lived in the area for 72 years.  She was a homemaker.  Jane was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Kittanning.  She enjoyed puzzle books, watching television, and hearing about her grandchildren.  Jane is survived by her sons, J. Richard (Vickie) Wain, of Kittanning and W. Randy Wain, of Bangor, Pa; daughter, Eloise (George) Migyanka, of Greensburg, Pa; grandsons, Christopher Wain and Michael Migyanka; and granddaughters, Jennifer Wain, Stephanie Wain, and Jessica (Forest) Wain Hansen.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Richard Wain.  Per Jane’s wishes, a private viewing and funeral service will be held with the Rev. Melissa Daniels officiating. Burial is in Kittanning Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jane’s honor to the Kittanning Public Library, 280 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, PA 16201. Arrangements are entrusted to the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
