Janet Ann (Kiehlmeier) Dunbar, 63, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at her home. She was born December 2, 1961 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph George and Lila Lee (Brown) Kiehlmeier. Janet was retired from Bayer Corp. She was caring, loved her family, especially her children, and was always there for them. She enjoyed working in her yard and around her home. She liked sitting around the fire. She was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. She was a Steelers fan. Janet dearly loved her family and friends and was a woman of tremendous faith.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughter, Kayla Duncan, of Ford Cliff; son, Austin Dunbar, of Kittanning; life partner, Larry Booher, of Kittanning; brother, Joe Kiehlmeier (Kim Clark), of Kittanning; sister, Judi (Dave) Cox, of Kittanning; sister, Joan (Gary) Lilly, of West Virginia; brother, Jeff Kiehlmeier, of Florida; sister, Jacki Kriley, of Manorville; brother, Jay Kiehlmeier (Tracy Evans), of Manorville; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Jim Kiehlmeier; and husband, Ron Dunbar.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
