Janice "Jan" Mohney

Janice Mohney “Jan”, age 73, died Sunday November 16th, 2025.  She was born August 16th, 1952, in Kittanning, PA to Paul Mohney & Laura (Montgomery) Mohney.  She graduated from Kittanning Senior High School in 1970.  She was a Graduate of West Penn School of Nursing 1973.  She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church; a volunteer with The American Cancer Society, member of the Kittanning Garden Club. She loved to do scrapbooking.  Wyatt and Graydon were two of her favorites. 

Survivors include, son Brad Sheasley and wife Melanie of Templeton, PA, son Aaron Sheasley and wife Brienne of Ford City, PA.  Two grandchildren, Wyatt and Graydon Sheasley.  Brother Jeffrey A. Mohney and wife Gloria Ely.  Brother Christopher P. Mohney and wife Tina.  Sister Charnie Knudsen and husband Eric. Nephew Ian Knudsen and wife Amelia.  Nephew Alex Knudsen.  Niece Emily McDonough and husband Dave. Great-nieces Delaney & Makenna and great-nephew Rhys and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Lolly Mohney, Aunt Charlotte Tarasi and nephew Zachary Mohney.    

Friends and family will be welcomed on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00pm & 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the funeral home with Pastor John Hopkins officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Memorial contributions can be made in Jan's honor to the Kittanning Public Library, 280 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, PA 16201 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
