John A. Milliron, 82, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, in Quality of Life Services-Sugarcreek. He was born on April 3, 1941, in Armstrong County to the late John H. and Lillian (Fry) Milliron.
John was a mold maker for Eljer Plumbing in Ford City. He was a dedicated member of the First Church of God in Kittanning, where he served the church in various capacities for several years. John loved his church and also going to the Whitehall Church Camp in Emlenton. He used to be a stamp collector and he loved spending time with family and friends. The past few years there was nothing that brought a bigger smile to his face then seeing and talking about his great-grandchildren.
Left behind to forever cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Judy (Scott) Milliron; son, the Rev. John A. (Lorrie) Milliron, of Rimersburg, son, Keith Milliron and companion, Mike Whitney, of Warren, Ohio; daughter, Traci (Ronald) Heuston, of Camp Hill, Pa.; four grandchildren: John A. (Lindsey) Milliron, Alyssa (Tim) Mills, Leah (Evan) Kovarik and Elizabeth (Chris) Rago; five great- grandchildren: Harley and Charlotte Mills, John L. Milliron, Hezekiah Kovarik and Chloe Rago; and a brother, Thomas Milliron, of Titusville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Ronald Heuston, Jr.; and brother, Richard Milliron.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, in the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kitttanning, Pa. Additional viewing will be held from 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, in the funeral home, until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Nick Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Rayburn Township.
