John W. Waldenville, 75, of Ford City passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Butler Memorial Hospital. He was born February 7, 1946 in Armstrong County; he was the son of the late Jesse and Goldie (Moseaugher) Waldenville.He was a hard working man, growing up working numerous jobs. He loved going to church, reading his Bible, and playing music especially his guitars. He also liked to hunt and fish and enjoy time with his great grand children.
He was survived by his loving wife, Peggy A. Waldenville whom he married on August 7, 2008; he is also survived by his son Paul Waldenville of Apollo; daughters Erin Waldenville of Kittanning and Pamela Sheasley of Apollo, Billie (Jim) Shumaker of Ford City, and Lisa (Luke) Johns of Ford City; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; brothers Ray (Fran) Waldenville, Gary Waldenville, Roger (Cathy) Waldenville; sisters Faith Gais, Virginia McLachian, and Gloria Roberts.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his grandchild, Ryan Waldenville, and brothers: Bill Waldenville, Ed Waldenville, Harold Waldenville, and James Waldenville.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from noon to 2:00pm and 4:00 pm until the time of a service at 6:00 pm at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning with Jerry Johns officiating. Interment will be in the Kittanning Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
