Joseph Louis Gaggini, 96, of Worthington, Pa. passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at QLS Sugar Creek. He was born June 2, 1929 in Cadogan, Pa., the son of the late Louis and Lena Gaggini, and was a lifelong resident of the community. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Worthington Mushroom Farm. Joe loved the Lord and most recently attended Furnace Run Chapel. He enjoyed gardening, feeding birds, hunting and fishing. Early in retirement, he and his wife did a lot of traveling out West and Southwest. He always made time for his grandchildren that he loved dearly.
Survivors include his son, Woodrow (Sally) Kirkwood, of Kittanning; daughter, Karen Nulph, of Worthington; son, Roy Kirkwood, of Adrian; grandchildren, Bradley (Kristin) Kirkwood, of New Bethlehem, Kristopher Kirkwood, of Oakmont, Sarah (Tim) Szekely, of Jeanette, Tirzah (Pete) Harper, of Florida and Brady Kirlwood, of Cowansville; and great-grandchildren, Haley and Lucas, of Cadogan, Adalyn, of Apollo, Cole and Levi, of Jeanette and Everly, of Cowansville. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Gaggini; and brothers, Fred Gaggini and Norman (Dawn) Gaggini.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026 until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pa., with Pastor Clair Knappenberger officiating. Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery.
