Joseph Lloyd Law, 42, of Springfield, Virginia formerly of Worthington, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Fairfax Hospital in Virginia. He was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on April 22, 1982, the son of Christina L. (Kaufman) and Daniel C. Shields. Joseph was a contracting officer for the federal government. He was an amazing, kind, genuine person with a huge heart. He had an infectious sense of humor and a quick wit. He loved his cats, walking and exercising, traveling, playing video games and spending time with his family and his fiancé Mikhail Coloma
He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory, his mother and father, Christina and Daniel Shields, of Worthington; sister, Alisha (Tyler) Skal, of Butler; step-brothers, Nathan Shields, of Cadogan and Brandon (Hanah) Shields, of Worthington; nieces and nephews, Alexander Davis, Vincent Skal, Reece Shields, Pierce and Layne Christy and Chloe Shields; grandfather, Darrell Kaufman, of Cowansville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith Kaufman; and grandparents, John and Joyce Law.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, Pennsylvania 16262. Interment is private.
