Joseph Jeffrey Lichanec

Joseph Jeffrey Lichanec, 61, of Worthington, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2022. He was born July 29, 1961 in Pittsburgh to John and Joan Lichanec.  He worked at Napco for 30 years and most recently at Bauer Block.  Joseph was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman’s Club and the Cowansville American Legion.  He attended Worthington High School and Lenape Vo Tech.  Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes and corn hole.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Lichanec; son, David Lichanec; daughter, Ashley Bash; son, Sean Lichanec; granddaughters, Embree Bash, Cambree Bash, and Melanie; brothers Jeff (Ricki) Lichanec and John (Carrie) Lichanec; father, John Lichanec; nephews, Justin and Travis Lichanec.  Joseph was preceded in death by his mother Joan (Zanetti) Lichanec.

Friends will be received on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington.  Additional visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of a service at 10:30 am.  Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buffalo Valley Sportsman’s Club in Worthington.
