Joseph D. Umbaugh, 82, of Kittanning, passed away Thursday July 2, 2026 at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights. He was born March 9, 1944 in Kittanning to the late Charles James and Melvine (Olinger) Umbaugh. Joseph was retired from Eljer in Ford City, where he worked as a caster. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kittanning. Joseph and his wife Judy loved going to Cape May, New Jersey and to Wildwood Crest, New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Crytzer) Umbaugh whom he married on September 11, 1965; two daughters Tawny Davis and her husband Ronald, and Joann Eck and her husband Deron; grandchildren Bailey Marcinko and her husband Mike, Alexis Trombley and her husband Tyler, and T.J. Davis; and great-grandchild Siena Marcinko.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and a brother.
