Josephine Louise (Cravener) McCullough

Josephine Louise (Cravener) McCullough, 74, of Worthington, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at her home.  She was born in Kittanning on September 5th, 1948, the daughter of the late Frank Thomas and Mary Louise Cravener, and was a lifelong resident of the community.  Josephine was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed traveling, puzzles and a good ‘ole party. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Ann Claypoole and husband, Joe, of Kittanning; step-daughter, Jeanne Wolfe and husband, Tom, of Kittanning; step-son, Rich Swank and companion, Hope Greenwald, of Chicora; brothers, James Cravener and wife, Bonnie, of Florida and Michael Cravener and wife, Susan, of Florida; grandchildren, Amber (Curtis) Loose, Kaitlin Claypoole, Angela Claypoole, Erin (James) Wright, Molly Wolfe and Steven Wolfe; and great-grandchildren, Sinjin Vega, Adalia Vega, Belle Morales, Joseph Wright, Lealynn Wright, Letty Wright and Laney Wright.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Clyde Swank, who died in 1971; her second husband, Robert Harry McCullough, whom she was married to for 44 years; two brothers, Tom and John; and 2 sisters, Anna and Irene. 

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 16 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Joe Miller officiating, with an additional hour of visitation prior to the service.  Following the funeral service, a luncheon will be held at First Baptist Church, 2230 Center Ave., Ford City, PA.
