Joshua Douglas Powell

Joshua Douglas Powell, 42, of Kittanning, passed away Saturday May 25, 2024 at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born September 28, 1981 in Kittanning to Linda (Shuttleworth) Powell and the late Douglas R. Powell. He was a lifelong resident of the area and of the Methodist Faith.

He is survived by his mother, Linda S. Powell, of Kittanning; grandmother, Jane L. Shuttleworth, of Kittanning; aunts and uncles, Harry J. (Donna) Shuttleworth of Kittanning and John R. (Kim) Shuttleworth of Virginia; and numerous friends and cousins.

Joshua was preceded in death by his father Douglas R. Powell who passed away May 2, 2017; grandfathers, John R. Shuttleworth, who passed away May 5, 1985 and Byrum H. Powell, who passed away August 11, 1981.

Joshua will be sadly missed by his mother, family, and friends.  Services for Josh will be private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
