Karen Sue (Stennett) Beere, 76, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2026 at Quality Life Services Sugarcreek. She was born April 5, 1949 in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Joseph Charles Stennett and Margaret "Peg" Stouffer, and she was a lifelong resident of the community. Karen attended Harvest Church. She enjoyed walking, biking and fishing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Karen enjoyed taking care of her patients while working as a nurse's aide. She loved attending church with her brother. She also loved her dog "Bailey" with whom she would go on long walks with. Fishing on Lake Erie with her family and spending time at camp was one of her great enjoyments, but spending time with her family was always her greatest enjoyment. She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory: her sons, Rodney (Leslie) Beere, of Albion, Pa., Joseph (Cathleen) Beere, of Kittanning and Terry Beere; brother, Charles "Ed" Stennett, of Kittanning; sister, Pamela Stennett, of Kittanning; grandchildren, Jessica Brisbain, of Kittanning, Shelly Smith, of Albion, Pa., April Pugh, of Monroeville, Pa., Tara Beere, Sara Beere, Samantha Beere, Elizabeth Beere, of Kittanning, Jonathan Beere, of Albion, Pa. and Jenna Beere; and many great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026 from 4-6 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning with funeral service to immediately follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Isaac John officiating.
