Karen Elaine (Wilson) Scaife

Karen Elaine (Wilson) Scaife, 81, of North East, Pa., passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 in North East, Pa.  She was born November 6, 1944 in New Kensington, Pa. to the late Charles A. And Marion S. (Steele) Wilson.  She was formerly employed as an Optical Assistant and worked at Keystone Tall Tree and Merchant's Bank.  She attended True Hope Community Church in Kittanning.  Karen enjoyed gardening, cruises, spending time with family and attending her grandchildren's events.  

She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, her daughters, Pamela Scaife, of North East, PA and Amy (Alex) Brown, of North East, PA; son, Adam (Regan) Scaife, of New Cumberland, WV; granddaughter, Alexa (Sam) Long, of Cowansville, PA; grandsons, Robert and Michael Wagner, of Erie, PA and Ronald James "RJ" Scaife, of Kittanning, PA; great-granddaughter, Vivian Long, of Cowansville, PA; sister, Barbara (Rob) Keener, of Mt. Lebanon, PA; brothers, William (Patricia) Wilson, of Norfolk, VA and Scott (Tina) Wilson, of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; sisters-in-law, Carol L. Thomas and Pamela K. Coggon; and brother-in-law, James (Sharon) Scaife.  In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald C. Scaife, who died in 2011; her grandparents and several beloved family members.

Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa.  Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 29, at True Hope Community Church, 150 East Brady Rd., Kittanning, PA 16201 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brad Hellein officiating.  Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, Pa.  Memorial contributions can be made in Karen's honor to True Hope Community Church or Orphans of the Storm, P.O. Box 838, Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
