Keith Williamson

Keith Williamson, a loving father, husband and friend, passed away on September 27, 2021 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. 

Keith was born on September 8, 1962 to Roy and Roberta (Adams) Williamson of Kittanning. He graduated Kittanning High School in 1980 and earned a bachelor’s degree in 1986. Throughout his career, he worked for several different insurance companies. He was so proud of the insurance agency he purchased in 2004, Williamson Insurance Inc. 

Keith was devoted to his community. He was an active member of the Worthington Lions Club, Seneca Lodge 805, train Collectors Association, Marienville Rod & Gun Club, and First United Methodist Church of Kittanning. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding ATV’s & dirt bikes in the National Forest, and spending his Friday Nights at Lernerville Speedway enjoying the races. He also loved spending time with family & friends. He loved his family animals, Bogey, Sox, Boomer, and Oliver. 

Keith married the love of his life, Lora (Smith) Williamson in 1987. They were happily married for 34 years and each others best friend. He is survived by his wonderful children; Nathan (Julia) Williamson and Ellen Williamson; his grandson, Levi Williamson, and a granddaughter who is on the way. His children were the most important part of his life. Keith is also survived by his parents; brother, Kevin (Marcia) Williamson; brother-in-law, Dan (Teri) Smith; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Williamson; grandparents, George & Berenice Williamson & Robert K & Maude G. Adams; and his mother-in-law, Marjorie E. Smith. 

Family and friends of Keith Williamson will be received on Thursday September 30, 2021 in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201 from 2:00-4:00pm & 7:00-9:00pm. Additional viewing will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 in the First United Methodist Church from 10:00am until time of services at 11:00am with Rev. Deb Kociban officiating.  In lieu of flowers , donations can be made in Keith’s memory, with the proceeds going towards the plant a tree program in the Allegheny National forest at https://www.fs.usda.gov
