Kenneth Kurt Keirn, 72, of Kittanning, died peacefully on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on October 15, 1948 in Kittanning to the late Doyle & Wilma Keirn. Ken was raised in the Ford City area until he moved to his current residence in Boggs Twp 46 years ago. He was a truck driver and member of the First Church of God. Ken was known for detailing his cars and loved watching his granddaughters, who were his pride and joy, play sports. He was also an avid hunter. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Patricia Keirn; son, Michael (Kathy) Keirn, of Kittanning; granddaughters, Kaitlyn & Madison Keirn, of Kittanning; sister-in-law, Brenda (Al) Shouey, of Bellstown, PA; brother-in-law, Douglas Wright, of Kittanning; nieces, Teresa Johnson & Tammi Groppe, of Ford Cliff, and Nicole Branan, of Manorville; nephews, Brian Rossiter, of Kittanning & Jeff Rossiter, of Butler; great niece, Abi Branan, of Manorville; great-great nephew, Landyn Johnson, of Ford Cliff; and great-great-nieces, Mikyla Johnson, of Ford Cliff & Jaycee Johnson, of Kittanning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herbert & Edna Saxman Sr.; sister-in-law, Linda Wright; brother-In-law, Herbert Saxman Jr.; and great nephew, Justin Johnson
Family and friends of Kenneth Keirn will be received on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 South McKean Street, Kittanning, PA 16201 from 2:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Additional viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 16, from 10:00 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am with Rev. Nick Wilson, Pastor of the First Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery.
