Larry G. "Sharky" Hartman, 87, of Ford City, passed away Tuesday September 3, 2024 at the Ridge at Heritage Meadows Personal Care Home. He was born January 2, 1937 in Kittanning to the late Bill and Mary (Rupp) Hartman.
Larry retired from General Motors in Ohio after 30 years, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman"s Club.
He loved hunting and fishing, and sitting in his garage playing music, drinking a beer and reloading bullets.
Larry is survived by his wife of 66 years Ruby "Pat" Hartman of Ford City; daughter Pam Gray of Florida; son Larry Hartman Jr. of Kittanning; son Mark Hartman of Florida; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother John (Debbie) Hartman of Cowansville; sister Donna Julius of Adrian; brother Gary Hartman of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Bill and Joe Hartman.
Services for Larry are private and under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning
