Laura "Lolly" Edith (Montgomery) Mohney

     Laura Edith "Lolly" (Montgomery) Mohney, 92, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at her home.  She was born June 13, 1929 in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Harry A. and Ethyl N. Montgomery, and was a lifelong resident of the community.  She was a retired school secretary and also helped with the mobile library.  She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning.  Lolly was an avid reader and enjoyed cross stitching and playing bridge.  Left behind to cherish her memory includes her husband of 71 years, Paul A. Mohney; daughter, Janice Mohney, of Kittanning; sons, Jeffrey (Gloria) Mohney, of Pittsburgh and Christopher (Tina) Mohney, of Kittanning; daughter, Charlotte (Eric) Knudsen, of Charlottesville, VA; grandsons, Brad (Melanie) Sheasley, of Kittanning and Aaron (Brienne) Sheasley, of Ford City; granddaughter, Emily (Dave) McDonough, of Kittanning; grandsons, Ian (Amelia) Knudsen, of Rochester, NY and Alex Knudsen, of Chesterfield, VA; great-grandsons, Wyatt and Graydon Sheasley and Rhys McDonough; great-granddaughter, Delaney McDonough; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  In addition to her parents, Lolly was preceded in death by her grandson, Zachary Mohney; sister, Charlotte Tarasi; and daughter-in-law, Juliana Mohney.  Funeral services will be privately held by the family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lolly's memory to Kittanning Public Library or the Salvation Army.  Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.
