Leno Alfred Golla

     Leno Alfred Golla, 87, of Kittanning, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.  He was born June 28, 1933 in Kittanning, a son of the late Adolph and Adella (Riccadonna) Golla.  He worked at the Progressive Workshop in Kittanning.  Leno was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning.  He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed attending Kittanning Wildcats football games and trips to Pittsburgh Pirates games.  He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and bowling with his group.  Leno also liked following the Kittanning Fireman’s Band and going to casino’s. 

     He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Louis (Virginia) Zabinski, of East Vandergrift, and brothers, Edward Golla, of Kittanning and Joseph Golla, of Media, Pa; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

     Friends will be received from 1-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral Home, 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning, Pa 16201, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3 p.m. at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating.  Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery beside his parents.  Guests attending the visitation and service for Leno are respectfully asked to wear a mask or facial covering and follow all CDC/PA Department of Health health and safety protocols.
