Leona H. (Kania) Latini, 90, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at her home. She was born May 24, 1931, in Ford City, a daughter of the late Andrew and Aniela (Urbanik) Kania. She was a member of St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. Left behind to cherish her memory includes her son, James (Sharon) Latini; daughters, Jeanine (Mark) Abranovic, Cathy (Gary) Klingensmith, and Donna (David) Steinbeck; grandchildren, Benjamin (Nicki) Latini, Jenna Latini, Abe Abranovic, Atalie Abranovic (fiance, Joe), Andrew Abranovic, Austin Abranovic (Abby), Jesse Klingensmith, Cody (Kara) Klingensmith, Dylan Klingensmith (Rachel), Emily Klingenmith (fiance, James Webb), Miranda Steinbeck, and Max Steinbeck; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Latini, and Arianna, Eva, and Nina Klingensmith; many nieces and nephews; and her favorite dog, "Marley". In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter, Edward, Michael, and John Kania; sisters, Jennie Recny and Frances Peresie; and infant grandson, Frankie. A private viewing will be held at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Kittanning with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating. Interment will be in Saint Francis DePaul Cemetery.
