Linda Gale Turpin, 79, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Born on March 27, 1945, in Kittanning, PA, Linda was the daughter of the late Thomas Croyle and Ruby Toy Croyle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Lynn Turpin; brothers, Tom Croyle and Chuck Croyle; sisters, Ruthann Croyle, Shirley Chestnut, and Peggy Ramer; and brothers-in-law, George Ramer, Sam Chestnut and Frank Lytle. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Adams and husband Robert; daughter, Teresa Rubio and husband, Martin; four grandchildren, Audrey Baliukonis, Kayla Hammett, Matthew Adams and Austin Adams; five great-grandchildren, Erickayla Tucker, Rebecca Tucker, Isaiah Norris, Aiden Norris and Julian Norris; two brothers, Dick (Maguerite) Croyle and Bob (Terri) Ramer; two sisters, Sue (Tom) Rosol and Patty Lytle; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Linda was a woman of immense love, kindness and faith. She had a heart that never stopped caring, always checking on others and offering support to those in need. Her deep love for God guided her life, and her devotion to reading the Bible brought her peace and wisdom. Linda treasured visits from family and friends, and she never met a stranger- her warmth and openness touched the lives of all who crossed her path. She had a gift for sharing stories of the past, keeping memories alive for future generations. Above all, Linda was a magnificent mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
A Memorial Service will held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA with Pastor Andrew Laddusaw officiating. Inurnment will be in Croyle Cemetery, Adrian, Pa.
