Louella M. (Shotts) McNabb, 70, of McGrann, passed away at her home on Monday, March 18, 2024. She was born January 18, 1954 in Kittanning, the daughter of the late Harry Shotts and Mabel and George Toy. She was married to Chuck McNabb for 47 loving years before his passing in 2021. Louella was retired, formerly working at Barker’s as a van aide and in childcare, as well as being a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing BINGO, puzzles, crocheting and making candy.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory her daughter, Heather (Mike) Beckett, of McGrann; son, Charles McNabb Jr., of McGrann; grandchildren, Ethan McNabb, of Kittanning, Jordan McNabb, of Ford City, Charlee McNabb, of Kittanning and Kolton McNabb, of Kittanning; sister, Viola Toy, of McGrann; brother, Robert Shotts, of Ford City; sister-in-law, Judith McNabb, of Worthington; brother-in-law, Ern (Joan) Elsesser, of Ford City; sister-in-law, Amy Elsesser, of N. Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her mother, father and step-father, Louella was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Beckett; sisters, Alice Dunmire, Patricia Corbett, Amanda Shotts and Gloria Jean Toy; and brothers, Laird Shotts and Sidney Shotts.
Per Louella’s request, there will be no public viewing or services and interment is private.
