Lucretia Jane (Pence) Pardini Obituary

Lucretia Jane Pardini, of Cowansville, Pa. died at the age of 92 on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She married William L. Pardini, Jr. on June 5, 1954, in St. Bernard's Church, Mt. Lebanon, Pa.  They resided in El Paso, Texas and New York City during his years in the service of our country.  The ensuing years were spent in Upper St. Clair, Pa. where they raised their children, Susan Marie Conti and William L. Pardini, III (Kristin Scott).  Lucretia graduated from Kittanning High School in 1950, received her RN at West Penn Hospital in 1953 and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from California University, California, Pa. in 1974.  Her nursing career included Elementary School Nurse in Upper St. Clair, Home Care Supervisor at Allegheny General Hospital, Evening Supervisor at St. Clair Hospital, Hospice Home Care Nurse for VNA of Butler and Nurse Reviewer at Blue Cross of Western PA before retiring in 1995.  She and her husband retired to the Cowan/Pence homestead in Cowansville, Pa.  She is a member of The West Penn Nurses Alumni Association and The Out of The Blue Retirees Club.  


The ultimate love of her life was caring for and offering support to her husband, children and grandchildren: Adam William, Luke Charles, Roman Robert and Levi Scott Pardini and Rachel Marie Conti, and great-grandsons, Cayden Louis Conti and Xavier Xane Kelly.  Lucretia was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Colwell and Charles Moore Pence; her husband of 71 years, William L. Pardini, Jr.; one sister, Rachel Mary Caruso; brother, Alan Colwell Pence; son-in-law, Ernest Louis Conti; grandson, Luke Charles Pardini; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Zagorac Pardini.  She is survived by her daughter, Susan M. Conti, of Moon Twp., Pa.; son, William L. Pardini III and his wife, Kristen (Scott) Pardini, of Upper St. Clair, Pa.; grandchildren, Adam W. (Becca) Pardini, of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., Roman R. Pardini, of Upper St. Clair, Levi S. Pardini, of Upper St. Clair and Rachel M. Conti, of Moon Twp., Pa.; great-grandsons, Cayden L. Conti and Xavier Kelly, both of Moon Twp.; and one sister, Sarah Ann Snyder, of Springfield, Missouri.  


A Funeral Mass will he held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, Pa. with The Reverend Juanito G. Lozano as celebrant.  Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pa.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Lucretia's honor to Lutheran Senior Life VNA of Western Pennsylvania.  Arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville, Pa.
