Lucy Lillian Zeolla, 93, of Kittanning, went home to the Lord on August 27, 2025.  Lucy (Lil) was born in Kittanning, a daughter to the late Mary and Pietro Zeolla.  She was a 1950 graduate of Kittanning Senior High School where she was a cheerleader and member of the National Honor Society.  She was a 1953 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing where she made many lasting friendships.  Lucy married Angelo Zeolla of Tarentum, PA.  They cherished 68 beautiful years together.  She was a dedicated nurse for 44 years.  Lucy was employed as an RN at ACMH where she was passionate about her career and was a wonderful role model for her three daughters.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and preparing homemade Italian favorites.  Lucy was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.  A highlight in her life was meeting Rocky Bleier.  She enjoyed music, especially Elton John and The Beach Boys.  

Left behind to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Kathryn (David) Turner, of Kittanning, Lisa (Kelly) Rettig, of Kittanning and Jennifer Frick, of Natrona Heights; five grandchildren: Pete (Melissa) Turner, Dave (Jodi) Cohen Turner, Michael Rettig, Lucia Rettig and Kristen Frick; and five great-grandchildren: Laney, Ethan, Jacob, Vivian and Sylvie Turner.  Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo; parents, Mary and Pietro; sisters, Madelaine Zeolla, Esther DeMichele and Anne Fair; and grandson, Dominic Rettig.

The family would like to express their appreciation to all of the staff at Concordia of Cabot for their dedicated care and support.  

Friends will be received on Monday, September 1, 2025 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.  Additional viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of Parting Prayers at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church, 101 W. High St., Kittanning with The Reverend Madhu Kodavatikanti as celebrant.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
