Lynn M. Walker, 75, of Kittanning, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot. He was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Dayton, to the late Laird and Genevieve (Hill) Walker. Lynn worked as a supervisor for Detroit Air Lines, and was a singer and entertainer. He also was a painter. He was a member of God’s Doorway to Christ Non-Denominational Church in Templeton. Lynn loved animals and music and liked to hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Pastor Greta M. (Bennett) Walker; two daughters, Lisa, of Penn Run, and Barbara, of Seattle, Wash.; two step daughters, Charlene and Mary; numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde Walker and his wife, Betty Rose, of Rural Valley, and Wayne Walker and his wife, Diana, of Mayport; two sisters, Bernice Sybert, of West Middlesex, Pa., and Colleen Bonatch and her husband, Dana, of Kittanning; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Lilly Walker; maternal grandparents, Myron and Cora Hill; his twin brother, Glenn Walker; and two sisters, Dorothy Rearick and Alda Smith.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, from 2-4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until the time of the service at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with his brother-in-law, Pastor Ronald Bennett, officiating. Interment will be in Salem Hills United Church of Christ Cemetery.
