Margaret J. (Brunner-Henry) Confer

Margaret J. (Brunner-Henry) Confer, 77, of Cowansville, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 20, 1944 in Sherrett to the late Earl and Thelma (Crawford) Brunner and was a lifelong resident of Cowansville.  Margaret enjoyed gardening, and growing flowers. She enjoyed crochet. She loved to read novels. She attended and organized country music social club dances. She enjoyed draft horses and attending horse pull events.  Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Crawford; daughter, Susan Molnar (Craig), of New Brighton; grandson, Nathan Horrell and his wife, Stephanie Heise, of Pittsburgh; and sisters, Martha Jones, of Kittanning and Rose Townsend, of East Brady.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Gerald Henry. Private services will be held in the Spring and arrangements are under the care of the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Cowansville, Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s honor to the Orphans of the Storm Animal Shelter, 11878 State Route 85 Kittanning, PA 16201.
