Marian Schreckengost, age 92, formerly of Worthington, Pennsylvania passed away December 28, 2024 at Quality Life Services - Sugarcreek.  She was born April 13, 1932 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Elmer and Rose (Hokamp) Holzwarth.  Marian graduated from Worthington High School.  She was employed at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital as a Nurse Aide.  She was of the Catholic faith.  She enjoyed crocheting and watching Hallmark movies.  

Marian is survived by her sons, Ronald (Jackie), James (Jennifer) and John (Laurie) Schreckengost and her daughters, Anita (Sam) Kammerdiener and Rosalie Schreckengost; her grandsons, Erik (Theresa), Kory, Joseph, Christopher, Robert (Chelsea Moores) and Michael (Haleigh) Schreckengost and her granddaughter, Eve (Dan) Ziegler; 8 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Judy Holzwarth and Shirley Holzwarth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Schreckengost; one infant son, Joseph; two infant grandsons, Levi and Luke Kammerdiener; brothers, Albert (Betty), Charles, Louis and Paul (Carol) Holzwarth; and sister, Rose Marie Pennington.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 119 Bear St., Worthington, PA with funeral service to immediately follow at 11 a.m. with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. as celebrant.  Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
