Martha E. (Weaver) Crawford

Martha E. Crawford, 81, of Chicora, Pa. died on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.  She was born October 24, 1944 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Denny H. And Iva (Smith) Weaver.  She was of the Catholic faith.  Martha enjoyed gardening and she loved animals, especially cats, rabbits and chickens.  Survivors include her son, Denny C. Slee; daughters, Iva Lee Slee and Rose Ann Hepler; and companion, Paul McElroy.  In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Sally Ann Slee; son, Jimmy Lee Slee; and husband, Thomas Crawford.  

Friends will be received on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 832 E. Brady Rd., Cowansville, Pa. From 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 p.m., with Pastor Sue Foster officiating.  Interment will be in Brady's Bend Cemetery.
