Martha Jane (Bennett) Waugaman

Martha Jane (Bennett) Waugaman, 92, of Kittanning, passed away Thursday May 18, 2023 at ACMH Hospital. She was born September 25, 1930 in Allegheny County to the late Aubrey and Delhia Bennett.

She enjoyed yard sales, baking, embroidering, and making crafts.

Martha is survived by her children Joseph L. Waugaman of Rural Valley; Norma (Tom) Smeltzer of Kittanning; Arthur W. Waugaman of Kittanning; Susan Nelson of Kittanning; Tina (James) Black of Kittanning; Karon Bushaw of Kittanning; Tracey Kline and her companion Bill Hobaugh of Kittanning; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer L. Waugaman whom passed away June 20, 2000; sister Kate Stivenson; brothers Dean Bennett and Charles Bennett; two grandchildren Jonathan W. Waugaman and Harry B. Lloyd Jr.

Friends will received on Monday May 22, 2023 at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2023 in the funeral home at 11:00 am with Pastor Craig Riggle of the New Life Center officiating. Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment is in Homewood Baptist Church Cemetery.
